Volkswagen T6 – Nalax

A fully custom camper van conversion built for comfortable off grid living, featuring a Victron electrical system, 200Ah lithium battery, solar panel installation, custom poplar plywood furniture, water system, boiler, ventilation, and premium surround sound setup.

The Project

This camper van conversion was fully designed and built to create a comfortable, functional, and reliable off grid living space with a clean and modern finish.

The build started with a durable 15 mm industrial plywood subfloor, finished with click vinyl plank flooring for a practical and stylish interior base.

All custom furniture was handcrafted using double laminated HPL poplar plywood, combining lightweight construction with durability and a refined aesthetic.

For the electrical setup, we installed a complete Victron off grid system including a 200Ah lithium battery, Victron booster, solar charge controller, and roof mounted solar panel with aluminum profiling for a secure and professional installation.

To improve comfort and ventilation, the van was fitted with a roof skylight featuring an integrated fan system.

The water system includes a 6 liter electric boiler, sink, tap, water pump, expansion vessels, a 69 liter underslung fresh water tank, and a 25 liter grey water tank installed beneath the sink.

For entertainment and driving comfort, we installed an Android CarPlay touchscreen radio together with a DB surround sound system including upgraded speakers and tweeters.

The project also included the complete homologation and legal certification process.
